Archiving
The built-in archive function of Outlook leaves a lot to be desired.
Rules Manager includes it's own archiving engine, which is more reliable and more powerful than the one built in to Outlook:
- Create archive files by date (year or month). Instead of archiving to a single file, you are able to archive to separate files based on date. So if you want all your 2008 email in one file, that is what you will get.
- Only archive email. If you like, Rules Manager will ignore any item that isn't an email message, meaning that your archives only contain messages.
